أعلن الاتحاد الهولندي لكرة القدم تعيين النجم السابق رود فان نيستلروي مساعدًا للمدرب تشافي هيرنانديز في الجهاز الفني للمنتخب الهولندي.

وسيواصل المهاجم السابق العمل مع المنتخب بعد تولي تشافي المهمة خلفًا لرونالد كومان، بعقد يمتد حتى كأس العالم 2030.

ويملك فان نيستلروي خبرة سابقة مع الجهاز الفني للمنتخب، بعدما عمل ضمن الطاقم بين عامي 2014 و2016، كما شارك في الجهاز خلال بطولة اوروبا 2020 التي أقيمت عام 2021.

وكان قد عاد إلى الطاقم الفني في شباط 2026 ضمن استعدادات هولندا لكأس العالم.

ويعد فان نيستلروي من أبرز مهاجمي هولندا تاريخيًا، إذ خاض 70 مباراة دولية وسجل 35 هدفًا بقميص منتخب بلاده.
