إندلع ظهر اليوم حريق بمسجد السلط الصغير وسط مدينة السلط دون حدوث أضرار بشرية.

وقال مدير أوقاف محافظة البلقاء الدكتور شادي الشياب أن الحريق نتج عن تماس كهربائي بالمكيف بالطابق الثاني وبالتحديد بغرفة قراءة القرآن وعلى الفور تم إبلاغ الدفاع المدني للسيطرة على الحريق .

وقدم الدكتور الشياب الشكر لكوادر الدفاع المدني على سرعة الاستجابة والسيطرة على الحريق بوقت قياسي دون حدوث أضرار بشرية .
