أدان الاتحاد الأوروبي اعتداءات المستوطنين في الضفة الغربية، معرباً عن قلقه إزاء تدهور الوضع في قرية قصرة جنوب نابلس، حيث ما تزال عائلات فلسطينية محاصرة داخل منازلها منذ قرابة أسبوعين، جراء اعتداءات المستوطنين.

وأوضح الاتحاد الأوروبي في بيان اليوم السبت نشرته دائرة العمل الخارجي الأوروبي في بروكسل، أن ما تشهده قرية قصرة يعكس تصاعداً بأعمال العنف التي يرتكبها مستوطنون متطرفون، بما يشمل الترهيب والمضايقة وتخريب الممتلكات والاعتداء الجسدي، بهدف دفع الفلسطينيين إلى مغادرة منازلهم.

من جانب آخر، أعرب الاتحاد الأوروبي عن رفضه للتصريحات الأخيرة لوزير الأمن القومي الإسرائيلي إيتمار بن غفير بشأن قطاع غزة، معتبراً أن الخطاب التحريضي والمسيء لا يسهم في تهدئة الأوضاع.
