صدرت في الجريدة الرسمية اليوم الموافقة على قرار مجلس الوزراء رقم (5962) بتاريخ 18 آب 2026، المتضمن الموافقة على البيان المشترك بشأن إقامة علاقات دبلوماسية بين المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية وجمهورية ترينيداد وتوباغو، الموقع في نيويورك بتاريخ 6 تموز 2026.

وبموجب البيان ، قررت حكومتا البلدين إقامة علاقات دبلوماسية وفقاً لأحكام اتفاقية فيينا للعلاقات الدبلوماسية لعام 1961، اعتباراً من تاريخ توقيع البيان المشترك.

وأكد الجانبان رغبتهما في تطوير علاقات الصداقة والتعاون في المجالات ذات الاهتمام المشترك، والتزامهما بمبادئ ومقاصد ميثاق الأمم المتحدة والقانون الدولي، بما في ذلك المساواة في السيادة والسلامة الإقليمية وعدم التدخل في الشؤون الداخلية للدول.
