أعلنت مديرية الأمن العام، الأثنين، أن الدفاع المدني سيطلق صافرة إنذار واحدة في مدينة العقبة، بالقرب من مصفاة البترول، عند الساعة السادسة مساء اليوم، لأغراض التجربة والصيانة.

وكانت مديرية الأمن العام أوضحت مسبقا دلالات الصفارات، فإذا كانت 3 صفارات متقطعة تعني وجود تهديد، وصفارة واحدة تعني زوال التهديد.
