أعلنت السلطات السورية، السبت، إلقاء القبض على قيادي بارز في تنظيم "داعش" الإرهابي.

ونقلت وكالة الأنباء السورية الرسمية (سانا)، عن مصدر في جهاز الاستخبارات العامة لم تسمه، أنه تم إلقاء القبض على قيادي بارز في تنظيم "داعش" الإرهابي.

ولم تنشر الوكالة تفاصيل حول هوية القيادي.

والأحد، ألقت السلطات الأمنية السورية، القبض على خلية مؤلفة من 9 عناصر تابعة لـ"داعش"، في مدينة خان أرنبة بمحافظة القنيطرة (جنوب)، وفق إفادة رسمية.

وفي نوفمبر/ تشرين الثاني 2025، انضمت دمشق إلى التحالف الدولي لمحاربة "داعش"، الذي تشكل بقيادة الولايات المتحدة عام 2014 ونفذ عمليات ضد التنظيم في سوريا والعراق.
