دانت جامعة الدول العربية الاستهداف الإيراني لناقلتين تابعتين لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة أثناء عبورهما مضيق هرمز، في انتهاك صارخ وغير مقبول للقوانين الدولية ولقرار مجلس الأمن 2817.

وشدد المتحدث الرسمي باسم الجامعة العربية؛ على أن تكرار هذه الانتهاكات الإيرانية، يشكل تهديداً مباشراً لحرية الملاحة البحرية فضلاً عما يمثله من تداعيات خطيرة على حركة التجارة الدولية وأمن الطاقة العالمي.

وأكد المتحدث على ضرورة احترام قواعد القانون الدولي وقانون البحار، داعياً إيران إلى وقف هذه الأعمال التصعيدية والامتناع عن أية ممارسات من شأنها تهديد أمن وسلامة الملاحة البحرية.
