أحبطت المنطقة العسكرية الشمالية، صباح الأحد، محاولة تسلل أحد الأشخاص على إحدى واجهاتها، أثناء محاولته اجتياز الحدود بطريقة غير مشروعة.

ورصدت قوات حرس الحدود الشخص المتسلل، حيث طُبقت قواعد الاشتباك المعمول بها، وأُلقي القبض عليه، وحُوّل إلى الجهات المختصة.

وأكدت القوات المسلحة الأردنية – الجيش العربي استمرارها في التعامل بكل حزم وقوة مع مختلف أشكال التسلل والتهريب، حفاظاً على أمن المملكة واستقرارها، وحمايةً لحدودها من أي تهديد.
