أعلنت وزارة الداخلية الإسبانية الجمعة، أنها ستفرض إجراءات تفتيش موقتة على حدودها للمسافرين الوافدين من إيطاليا، وذلك ردا على إجراءات مماثلة اتخذتها روما عقب تدفق أعداد كبيرة من المهاجرين إلى سبتة.

وأوضحت الوزارة في بيان أن تنفيذ هذه الإجراءات التي تأتي "وسط ضغط مستمر للهجرة غير النظامية" تواجهه إيطاليا، سيبدأ منتصف ليل السبت على أن يستمر حتى السابع من أيلول/سبتمبر.
