وقع الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب الخميس، أمرا تنفيذيا يمنع أطفال الأمهات اللواتي يسافرن إلى الولايات المتحدة للولادة، من الحصول على الجنسية الأميركية بشكل تلقائي، في محاولة جديدة من قبله لمنع حق المواطنة بالولادة.

وقال ترامب للصحافيين في البيت الأبيض "أخذوا حق المواطنة بحكم الولادة وجعلوا منه أضحوكة"، وذلك بعد أن أبطلت المحكمة العليا جهوده السابقة لتقييد هذا الحق المكفول دستوريا.
