الجزائر تبحث عن مدرب جديد بعد رحيل بيتكوفيتش

أنهى الاتحاد الجزائري لكرة القدم مهمة المدرب السويسري فلاديمير بيتكوفيتش على رأس الجهاز الفني لمنتخب «ثعالب الصحراء»، وذلك عقب مشاركة متواضعة في كأس العالم 2026 في أميركا الشمالية.

وتولّى المدرب البالغ 62 عاما والمنحدر من أصول بوسنية، منصبه عام 2024 خلفا لجمال بلماضي، لكنه يغادره بعد شهرين فقط من تمديد عقده حتى 2028.

وأوضح الاتحاد الجزائري أن العلاقة بينه وبين بيتكوفيتش وجهازه الفني «انتهت رسميا بالتراضي».

وبلغ المنتخب الجزائري تحت قيادة بيتكوفيتش الأدوار الإقصائية للمونديال للمرة الثانية في تاريخه بعد أولى في نسخة 2014، مستفيدا من النظام الجديد للبطولة العالمية بمشاركة 48 منتخبا.

لكن مشواره انتهى في دور الـ32 أمام نظيره السويسري 0-2.

كما لم يتألق «الخضر» في كأس الأمم الإفريقية في كانون الثاني، إذ ودّعوا البطولة من الدور ربع النهائي أمام نيجيريا 0-2.

ولم يكشف الاتحاد الجزائري عن هوية المدرب الذي سيخلف بيتكوفيتش.
