أعلنت وزارة الأشغال العامة والإسكان عن تعرض محول كهربائي يغذي إنارة طريق عمان- اربد لاعتداء جديد، في حادثة تضاف إلى سلسلة الاعتداءات التي تستهدف عناصر السلامة المرورية.

وأكدت الوزارة أنها أبلغت الأجهزة الأمنية والجهات المعنية لملاحقة المتورطين، مبينة أن المحول كان محاطا بغرفة إسمنتية وسياج مرتفع، إلا أن المعتدين قاموا بهدم جزء من الغرفة الإسمنتية للوصول إلى المحول وتنفيذ عملية السرقة.

وأشارت الوزارة إلى أن الاعتداءات المتكررة على عناصر السلامة المرورية أصبحت تستنزف جهودها ومواردها، وتؤثر سلبا في استدامة الخدمات وسلامة مستخدمي الطرق.
