قال وزير الخزانة الأميركي سكوت بيسنت إن الولايات المتحدة انتقلت من ما وصفه بـ"عملية الغضب الملحمي العسكرية" إلى "عملية الغضب الاقتصادي" بهدف تقييد نفوذ النظام الإيراني.

وأضاف أن بلاده تبحث عن أصول إيرانية في أنحاء العالم، مؤكدا أن الأموال الناتجة عن الأصول الإيرانية المصادرة ستذهب إلى الشعب الإيراني.
