أحبطت المنطقة العسكرية الشمالية، الأربعاء، محاولة تسلل لشخص على إحدى واجهاتها، أثناء محاولته اجتياز الحدود بطريقة غير مشروعة.

وجرى رصده من قبل قوات حرس الحدود، وتطبيق قواعد الاشتباك المعمول بها، وإلقاء القبض عليه، وتحويله إلى الجهات المختصة لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة بحقه.

وتؤكد القوات المسلحة الأردنية – الجيش العربي أنها مستمرة في التعامل بكل حزم وقوة مع مختلف أشكال التسلل والتهريب، حفاظاً على أمن المملكة واستقرارها، وحماية حدودها من أي تهديد.
