قال الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب إن اجتماعيه مع رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو والرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي في واشنطن كانا "إيجابيين"، مشيراً إلى أنه ناقش معهما عدداً من القضايا المهمة دون الكشف عن تفاصيلها.

وكتب ترامب، في منشورين منفصلين على منصة "تروث سوشال"، أن لقاءه مع نتنياهو كان "جيداً جداً"، مضيفاً: "من الواضح أننا ناقشنا العديد من المواضيع المهمة".

وفي منشور آخر، وصف ترامب اجتماعه مع زيلينسكي بالإيجابي، قائلاً: "نوقشت أمور كثيرة. سار اللقاء على ما يرام".

ولم يقدم الرئيس الأميركي تفاصيل إضافية بشأن القضايا التي تناولتها الاجتماعات.

وجاء لقاء ترامب مع نتنياهو وزيلينسكي على هامش حضورهما في واشنطن مراسم تأبين السيناتور الجمهوري ليندسي غراهام.
