قال الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب، الاثنين، إن الولايات المتحدة تجري "محادثات جيدة" مع إيران "في الوقت الراهن".

وأضاف ترامب، أثناء وجوده على متن طائرة الرئاسة في طريقه إلى ولاية ميشيغان، أن لديه "متسعا كبيرا من الوقت" للتعامل مع إيران.

وأشار في معرض حديثه عن اتفاق محتمل مع طهران إلى وجود "احتمال كبير بأن يحدث شيء ما".

وذكر أيضا أنه سيستفسر من روسيا عن تزويد إيران بصور التقطتها الأقمار الصناعية.

وقال ترامب "سأسأل بوتين عن ذلك... وسنعرف حقيقة الأمر".

وحذر ترامب من أنه مستعد لاتخاذ "إجراء عسكري قوي" إذا فشلت الدبلوماسية.
