بدء تجارب نظام الرسائل التحذيرية على الهواتف في معظم المحافظات

تبدأ اليوم، سلسلة التجارب التي ينفذها المركز الوطني للأمن وإدارة الأزمات على نظام الرسائل التحذيرية الوطني على الهواتف المحمولة في معظم محافظات المملكة، وتستمر حتى 2 آب المقبل.

وستنفذ التجارب، وفقا للمركز، بالتعاون مع وزارة الاقتصاد الرقمي والريادة، وهيئة تنظيم قطاع الاتصالات، وشركات الاتصالات المرخصة في المملكة، وذلك للوقوف على جاهزية النظام في التحذير من مخاطر الأزمات والكوارث والأحداث الطارئة.

وأهاب المركز بالمواطنين عدم القلق أو الهلع عند استلام الرسائل التجريبية، موضحا أن الرسائل التي ستصل إلى الهواتف المحمولة باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية سيرافقها تنبيه صوتي لجذب انتباه المواطنين وضمان الاطلاع عليها بشكل فوري.

وأضاف أن صياغة الرسالة التحذيرية التجريبية ستكون مرتبطة بالعواصف الغبارية.
