باشرت كوادر بلدية غرب إربد، وبالتعاون مع مركز أمن كفريوبا، بإزالة نباتات الداتورا السامة من منطقة وادي ناطفة، وذلك فور ورود معلومة حول وجودها في الموقع.

وجاءت الاستجابة بشكل فوري حرصًا على السلامة العامة، حيث عملت كوادر البلدية على إزالة النباتات والتخلص منها وفق الإجراءات المناسبة، لما قد تشكله من خطر على المواطنين، خاصة الأطفال، نظرًا لسمية هذا النبات.

وأكد رئيس لجنة بلدية غرب إربد محمد القضاة للرأي استمرار البلدية في متابعة أي ملاحظات تردها بالتنسيق مع الجهات الأمنية المختصة، داعية المواطنين إلى الإبلاغ عن أي مواقع يشتبه بوجود هذا النبات فيها، حفاظًا على سلامة الجميع.
