أعلن الجيش الكويتي الجمعة أن دفاعاته الجوية تتصدى لهجمات صاروخية وطائرات مسيرة، بعد يوم من تعرض الإمارة الخليجية لهجوم إيراني.

وأفادت رئاسة الأركان العامة للجيش في بيان أن "الدفاعات الجوية الكويتية تتصدى حاليا لهجمات صاروخية وطائرات مسيرة معادية، إثر العدوان الإيراني الاثم". كما أعلنت البحرين عن إطلاق صافرات الإنذار، وحضت المواطنين والمقيمين على التوجه لأقرب مكان آمن. وذكرت وسائل إعلام رسمية إيرانية أن القوات العسكرية للجمهورية الإسلامية استهدفت مروحيات وطائرات أميركية في قاعدة جوية بالبحرين "ردا على العمل العدائي للعدو باستهداف البنية التحتية والمدنيين الأبرياء".
