قالت المتحدثة باسم وزارة الخارجية الروسية ماريا زاخاروفا الأربعاء إن موسكو ترفض نشر حلفاء كييف قوة متعددة الجنسيات في أوكرانيا في حال التوصل إلى اتفاق سلام.

وأضافت أن روسيا ستعد قوة من هذا القبيل تهديدا مباشرا وهدفا عسكريا مشروعا لها.

وجاءت تصريحات زاخاروفا بعدما جددت الدول الغربية الأعضاء في "تحالف الراغبين" الداعم لأوكرانيا، الأسبوع الحالي، تأكيد التزامها بنشر مثل هذه القوة عقب التوصل إلى وقف للأعمال القتالية.
