أعلن الجيش الأميركي الثلاثاء شنّ ضربات على إيران لليوم الرابع على التوالي، فيما تتهيّأ واشنطن لإعادة تفعيل حصارها البحري للموانئ الإيرانية.

وجاء في منشور للقيادة المركزية الأميركية (سنتكوم) على منصة إكس أن الضربات ترمي إلى "إضعاف القدرات الإيرانية المستخدمة في مهاجمة السفن التجارية في مضيق هرمز". ولفتت سنتكوم إلى أن الضربات تأتي في وقت "تتهيّأ القوات الأميركية لإعادة تفعيل الحصار البحري على الموانئ والمناطق الساحلية الإيرانية".
