أعرب أمين عام الأمم المتحدة، أنطونيو غوتيريش عن بالغ حزنه لنبأ وفاة أمير قطر السابق، الشيخ حمد بن خليفة آل ثاني.

ووصف غوتيريش في بيان اليوم الأحد صدر باسمه الامير الراحل بأنه "كان قائداً صاحب رؤية وأحدث تحولاً في مسيرة وطنه وشعبه".

وتقدم غوتيريش بخالص تعازيه إلى أمير قطر سمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني، وإلى حكومة وشعب دولة قطر.
