أكّد الرئيس الأميركي، دونالد ترامب، الأحد، أن الولايات المتحدة وجهت "ضربة قوية جدا" لإيران خلال الليلة الماضية، ردا على هجمات طهران على سفن في مضيق هرمز.

وقال الرئيس الأميركي في تصريح عبر الهاتف لشبكة سي أن أن "وجهنا إليهم ضربة قوية للغاية الليلة الماضية"، مضيفا أن الولايات المتحدة وإيران كانتا على وشك التوصل إلى "اتفاق" السبت.

وتابع "كانوا على وشك التنازل عن كل شيء، ثم فجأة بعد ساعتين، استهدفوا سفينة بطائرة مسيّرة. هؤلاء الناس يعانون خللا ما".
