أكد وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي السبت، أن طهران "أوفت بكلمتها" بشأن مذكرة التفاهم مع الولايات المتحدة، وذلك عقب إعلان الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب انتهاء وقف إطلاق النار مع موافقته على إجراء مباحثات جديدة.

وكتب عراقجي على منصة اكس "إيران أوفت بكلمتها حتى الآن، على عكس ما يسمى بوزير الخزانة الأميركي الذي ينتهك الفقرة 9 من مذكرة التفاهم"، في إشارة إلى جزء من المذكرة ينص على عدم نشر الولايات المتحدة لقوات إضافية في المنطقة.
