حذّر رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو، الثلاثاء، من أن بيع الولايات المتحدة مقاتلات "إف-35" لتركيا من شأنه "نسف توازن القوى" في الشرق الأوسط.

وقال في مقابلة أجرتها معه شبكة "سي إن إن" الإخبارية الأميركية إن أي صفقة مماثلة "من شأنها نسف توازن القوى في الشرق الأوسط، لأن تركيا، باعتقادي، لديها طموحات عدوانية".

وكان الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب قال خلال لقائه نظيره التركي رجب طيب إردوغان الثلاثاء، إن واشنطن ستنظر في إمكان بيع أنقرة طائرات من هذا الطراز.
