رفض أعضاء الحكومة الإسرائيلية اليوم الأحد قرارا صادرا عن المحكمة العليا بشأن هيئة تنظيم البث، مما أثار مخاوف من اندلاع أزمة دستورية.

وهذه أول مرة تتجاهل فيها حكومة رئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتنياهو قرارا صادرا عن المحكمة العليا، على الرغم من دخولها في صدام ‌مع السلطة القضائية فيما مضى. ففي 2022، سعت الحكومة إلى تقييد صلاحيات المحكمة، مما أثار انتقادات عالمية واحتجاجات جماهيرية في إسرائيل، لكنها تراجعت في النهاية عن الخطة بعد هجمات حركة المقاومة الإسلامية الفلسطينية (حماس) في السابع من أكتوبر تشرين الأول 2023.
