أعلنت الرئاسة السورية، الأحد، أنّ الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون سيزور دمشق في المستقبل القريب، من دون تحديد الموعد، لبحث سبل تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية والقضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك.

وسيكون ماكرون أول رئيس دولة كبرى يزور دمشق بعد الإطاحة بحكم الرئيس بشار الأسد في كانون الأول 2024، كما ستكون الزيارة الثالثة لزعيم أجنبي إلى سوريا، بعد زيارتي الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي وأمير قطر الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني.
