بلغ المنتخب الوطني لكرة السلة الدور الثاني من التصفيات الآسيوية المؤهلة إلى نهائيات كأس العالم 2027، رغم خسارته أمام نظيره الإيراني بنتيجة 49-67، في المباراة التي جمعتهما مساء اليوم الخميس على صالة الأرينا بمدينة الحسين للشباب، ضمن منافسات النافذة الثالثة من التصفيات.

وجاء تأهل المنتخب الوطني بعد أن أنهى منافسات الدور الأول ضمن المنتخبات الثلاثة الأولى في المجموعة الثالثة، ليواصل مشواره في التصفيات المؤهلة إلى نهائيات كأس العالم.

وكان المنتخب الوطني قد حقق نتائج مميزة خلال مشواره في الدور الأول، أسهمت في ضمان تأهله إلى المرحلة الثانية، حيث يواصل المنافسة على إحدى بطاقات العبور إلى نهائيات كأس العالم.
