حقق المنتخب الوطني لكرة السلة فوزاً كبيراً على نظيره العراقي بنتيجة (108-59)، في المباراة التي جمعتهما مساء اليوم الاثنين على صالة الأرينا بمدينة الحسين للشباب، ضمن المباراة المؤجلة من النافذة الثانية للتصفيات الآسيوية المؤهلة إلى نهائيات كأس العالم لكرة السلة 2027 في قطر.

وأقيمت المباراة المؤجلة بالتزامن مع انطلاق منافسات النافذة الثالثة، بعد أن كانت قد أُرجئت سابقاً بقرار من الاتحاد الدولي لكرة السلة (FIBA).

وفرض المنتخب الوطني أفضليته على مجريات اللقاء منذ بدايته، وقدم أداءً قوياً على الصعيدين الدفاعي والهجومي، لينجح في توسيع الفارق تدريجياً وحسم المواجهة بفارق 49 نقطة، مؤكداً جاهزيته لمواصلة مشواره في التصفيات.

ويمنح هذا الفوز المنتخب الوطني دفعة معنوية مهمة في منافسات المجموعة الثالثة، حيث يواصل مشواره في النافذة الثالثة بمواجهتين أمام إيران والعراق، واللتين تستضيفهما العاصمة عمّان خلال الأيام المقبلة.
