حثّت إيران فرنسا الاثنين على "عدم تعقيد الأمور" في مضيق هرمز، بعد صدور إعلان مشترك بين الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون وسلطان عُمان هيثم بن طارق يتطرق إلى عمليات لنزع الألغام في مضيق هرمز.

وكتب نائب وزير الخارجية الإيراني كاظم غريب آبادي على منصة (إكس) "قال ماكرون إنه يتعاون مع شركائه في نزع الألغام في مضيق هرمز"، مشيرا الى أنه بحسب مذكرة التفاهم الموقعة بين طهران وواشنطن، فإن ذلك "يعود حصرا إلى إيران وليس أي دولة أخرى، ونحن لن نسمح جذريا بأي أمر كهذا."

وقال غريب، إنّ "الوضع حساس ومعقد. ننصح فرنسا بألا تعقد الأمور بشكل إضافي عبر استفزازاتها".
