أعلنت رئيسة فنزويلا بالوكالة ديلسي رودريغيز الجمعة، أن حصيلة ضحايا الزلزالين اللذين ضربا البلاد ارتفعت إلى أكثر من الضعف، لتصل إلى 589 قتيلا، في وقت تكثف فرق الإنقاذ جهودها للعثور على ناجين تحت أنقاض المباني المنهارة.

وقالت رودريغيز خلال اجتماع متلفز مع مسؤولين عسكريين ومدنيين "للأسف، بات عدد الضحايا الآن 589 قتيلا"، بعد حصيلة رسمية سابقة بلغت 235 قتيلا.
