التحقت البرازيل بركب المتأهلين إلى دور الـ32 في كأس العالم 2026 لكرة القدم، بعدما حسمت صدارة المجموعة الثالثة بتخطيها اسكتلندا 3-0، الأربعاء على ملعب هارد روك في ميامي ضمن الجولة الثالثة والأخيرة.

ويدين أبطال العالم خمس مرات بانتصارهم الثاني تواليا في المونديال لفينيسيوس جونيور (7 و45+3) وماتيوس كونيا (60).

وحسمت البرازيل صدارة المجموعة الثالثة برصيد سبع نقاط متفوقة على المغرب الفائزة على هايتي 4-2، بفارق الأهداف، فيما حلّت اسكتلندا ثالثة برصيد ثلاث نقاط وهايتي رابعة من دون نقاط.

وشهدت المواجهة مشاركة الهداف التاريخي لمنتخب "سيليساو" نيمار جونيور في الدقيقة 76 بدلا من كونيا، وهو الظهور الدولي الأول لنجم باريس سان جرمان الفرنسي وبرشلونة الإسباني السابق منذ تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2023.
