ودّعت قطر مونديال أميركا الشمالية لكرة القدم 2026 الأربعاء بخسارتها 1-3 أمام البوسنة والهرسك التي ضمنت المركز الثالث في المجموعة الثانية، بعد الجولة الثالثة الأخيرة من الدور الأول.

وأنهت قطر مشاركتها المونديالية الثانية، بعد استضافتها نسخة 2022، بنقطة واحدة خلف البوسنة والهرسك التي ارتفعت حظوظها بالتأهل إلى دور الـ32 كأحد أفضل ثمانية منتخبات تتأهل من المركز الثالث، فيما تصدرت سويسرا المجموعة على حساب كندا، إحدى الدول المضيفة، بعد فوزها عليها 2-1.

سجل للبوسنة كل من كريم علايبيغوفيتش (29)، محمود أبو ندى (34 بالخطأ في مرماه) والبديل إرمين مهميتش 80) فيما سجل حسن الهيدوس هدف قطر الوحيد (42).
