التقى جلالة الملك عبدالله الثاني، في ولاية كاليفورنيا، السيدة الأردنية المقيمة في الولايات المتحدة، منال الظاهر، التي كانت قد ظهرت في مقابلة مصورة انتشرت على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، عبرت فيها عن حنينها الشديد إلى الأردن ورغبتها في العودة إليه بعد 25 عاما من الغربة.

وقدم جلالته للسيدة الظاهر دعوة لزيارة المملكة على نفقته الخاصة.

وأعربت الظاهر عن سعادتها الغامرة بلقاء جلالة الملك وتلقي هذه الدعوة، مثمنة حرصه على التواصل مع الأردنيين أينما كانوا.
