أعلن رئيس الوزراء الفرنسي سيباستيان لوكورنو الثلاثاء أن 40 شخصا، غالبيتهم من الشباب، قد لقوا حتفهم غرقا منذ 18 حزيران وسط موجة حر شديدة تجتاح فرنسا.

وقال لوكورنو خلال اجتماع طارئ بشأن موجة الحر "هناك آفة مأسوية تتمثل في حالات الغرق، إذ بلغ أحدث عدد للوفيات أُبلغنا به 40 حالة منذ 18 حزيران، معظمها في صفوف الشباب".
