أكد رئيس الوزراء جعفر حسان، الأحد، أن تنفيذ عقوبة الإعدام اليوم يشكل رسالة واضحة ومستمرة لكل من يجرؤ على الاعتداء على أفراد القوات المسلحة الأردنية والأجهزة الأمنية.

وأضاف حسان خلال جلسة مجلس الوزراء في محافظة الزرقاء أن الحكومة ستعمل على تعديل القانون بما يضمن تطبيق عقوبة الإعدام على نطاق أوسع بحق كبار تجار ومهربي المخدرات الذين يعملون مع العصابات الخارجية، مشيرا إلى أنها ستتابع هذا الملف مع أعضاء مجلس الأمة من الأعيان والنواب.
