الجيش الأميركي: نراقب مضيق هرمز لضمان بقائه مفتوحا

نفى الجيش الأميركي السبت تصريحات إيران بشأن إغلاق مضيق هرمز، قائلا إن الممر المائي الحيوي لا يزال مفتوحا وإن قواته تراقب الوضع لضمان استمرار ذلك.

وقال المتحدث باسم القيادة المركزية الأميركية تيم هوكينز لرويترز "إيران لا تسيطر على مضيق هرمز... حركة الملاحة مستمرة، والقوات الأميركية تراقب الوضع لضمان استمرار ذلك".

كان الحرس الثوري الإيراني أعلن إغلاق مضيق هرمز في وقت سابق من اليوم، وحذر السفن من الاقتراب منه، مما جدد الشكوك حول مستقبل اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران، والذي يهدف إلى تمهيد الطريق لمحادثات سلام معمقة.
