يستقبل وزير الخارجية المصري نظراءه من باكستان والسعودية وتركيا الأحد في مدينة العلمين على البحر المتوسط، وفق ما أعلنت الخارجية المصرية.

وأفادت الوزارة في بيان لها بأن وزير الخارجية والتعاون الدولي المصري بدر عبد العاطي سيلتقي في اجتماع رباعي الأحد مع كل من وزير الخارجية السعودي الأمير فيصل بن فرحان ووزير الخارجية التركي هاكان فيدان، ووزير خارجية باكستان محمد إسحاق دار.

ويعقب الاجتماع جلسة مباحثات موسعة ثم مؤتمر صحفي.

وبحسب البيان الذي لم يحدّد فحوى المحادثات، علما أن الدول الأربع منخرطة في جهود احتواء التصعيد في الشرق الأوسط.
