قال المدير الفني للمنتخب الوطني "النشامى"، جمال سلامي، الثلاثاء، إن تواجد المنتخب في كأس العالم 2026 يمثل مجدا وتاريخا.

وأضاف، خلال مؤتمر صحفي عقده في سان فرانسيسكو قبيل المباراة المرتقبة أمام النمسا، أن المنتخب الوطني سيواجه منتخبًا قويًا، مشيرًا إلى أن الأهم هو أن تكون البداية موفقة.

وأوضح أن اللاعبين يتمتعون بقدرات ومؤهلات تسمح لهم بمجاراة نسق المباراة منذ بدايتها وتحقيق نتيجة إيجابية.

ولفت إلى أن النمسا منتخب قوي، مؤكدًا في الوقت ذاته أن المنتخب الوطني قادر على تقديم أداء مميز.

وتحدث سلامي عن المباريات التي خاضتها المنتخبات العربية والآسيوية في كأس العالم 2026، مشيرًا إلى أنها تمثل حافزًا للنشامى، إذ إن النتائج التي حققتها كانت مشجعة، وقدمت مستويات ندية أمام المنتخبات التي واجهتها، وهو ما ينعكس إيجابًا على اللاعبين لتقديم مباراة بمستوى متقدم أمام النمسا. (المملكة)
