قال رئيس وزراء الاحتلال الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو ووزير الدفاع يسرائيل كاتس في بيان مشترك، الأحد، إن شن الجيش الإسرائيلي هجوما على أهداف تابعة لحزب الله في حي الحداحية في بيروت، ردا على إطلاق النار من قبل الحزب على الأراضي الإسرائيلية".

وأضاف نتنياهو خلال البيان، "لن تتسامح إسرائيل مع إطلاق النار على أراضيها".

وكان جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي قد هجوما على أهداف تابعة لحزب الله في الضاحية الجنوبية لبيروت.

وأفادت مراسلة "المملكة" بأن الحصيلة الأولية للغارة الإسرائيلية شهيد وأربعة جرحى.
