يظهر لاعب المنتخب الوطني للكراتيه عفيف غيث اليوم الأحد في نهائي الجولة الرابعة من الدوري العالمي للكراتيه المقامة في العاصمة المغربية الرباط.

وسيلتقي غيث في النهائي نظيره المغربي سعيد أبايا، في محاولة للفوز بالميدالية الذهبية وتعزيز حضور الكراتيه الأردنية على المستوى العالمي، واستمرارية تحقيق المزيد من الإنجازات اللافتة.

وكان غيث، تأهل إلى نهائي وزن تحت 67 كغم بعد أن تمكن من تحقيق الفوز في 5 نزالات متتالية.

وتصدر غيث، مجموعته في الدور الأول بعد الفوز في 3 نزالات على كل من، الأيرلندي كونور سوليفان بنتيجة 6-0 والتركي أوزر عمر عبد الرحيم بنتيجة 3-0 والإيطالي جيانلوكا دي فيفو بنتيجة 4-0.

وفي الدور ربع النهائي، فاز عفيف غيث على الألماني أوزدمير محمد بنتيجة 5-0، قبل أن يحسم تأهله في الدور نصف النهائي بالأفضلية أمام الإيطالي لوكا ماريسكا بعد التعادل بنتيجة 5-5.
