ذكرت وسائل إعلام رسمية، السبت، أن جنازة المرشد الإيراني الراحل علي خامنئي ستبدأ في طهران في 4 تموز، وستختتم بدفنه في مسقط رأسه بمدينة مشهد شمال شرقي إيران في 9 تموز.

وقُتل خامنئي بغارات إسرائيلية وأميركية على إيران في شباط.

وكانت وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية، قالت في 28 شباط 2026، إنّه تم خلال الهجوم الأميركي الإسرائيلي المشترك على إيران إلقاء 30 قنبلة على مقر إقامة خامنئي.

وتولّى مجتبى خامنئي، نجل علي خامنئي، منصب المرشد الأعلى في أوائل آذار، ليصبح ثالث مرشد منذ قيام الجمهورية الإسلامية عام 1979.

ومنذ توليه منصبه، لم يظهر مجتبى الذي أصيب بالغارة التي أودت بحياة والده وعدد من المسؤولين، واقتصرت تصريحاته على بيانات منسوبة إليه.
