قال الناطق الإعلامي باسم مديرية الأمن العام إن أحد الأشخاص أقدم على إطلاق النار على آخر في محافظة معان إثر خلاف سابق، ما أدى إلى إصابته ونقله إلى المستشفى حيث يتلقى العلاج وحالته سيئة، فيما قام مطلق النار بتسليم نفسه للأجهزة الأمنيّة والسلاح الناري المُستخدم واعترف بارتكاب الجريمة وستتم إحالة القضية للقضاء.

وأكد الناطق الإعلامي أن ما ورد في بيان سابق حول وفاة المصاب غير دقيق، موضحًا أنه ما يزال على قيد الحياة ويتلقى العلاج.
