قال الناطق الإعلامي باسم مديرية الأمن العام إنّ ذوي أحد الأشخاص تقدّموا للبحث الجنائي ولمديرية شرطة شمال عمّان ببلاغ بتغيبه عن منزله بما يزيد عن أسبوعين وانقطاع الاتصال به، حيث شُكل فريق تحقيقي خاص لمتابعة حيثيات اختفائه والبحث عنه.

وأكّد الناطق الإعلامي أنّ فريق التحقيق ومن خلال جمع المعلومات حول ذلك الشخص ومحيطه وقع الاشتباه على شخصين وبأن لهما علاقة باختفائه، حيث ألقي القبض عليهما وبالتحقيق معهما اعترفا بقتله طعنا إثر خلاف بينهم، ودفن جثته في منطقة خالية من السكان شمال العاصمة.

وبدلالتهما تم الوصول لمكان دفنه واستخراج جثته وضبط اداة الجريمة وما زالت التحقيقات جارية تمهيدًا لإحالة القضية للقضاء.
