دعت مصر الولايات المتحدة وإيران إلى "اغتنام الفرصة المتاحة" لإبرام اتفاق ينهي الحرب، بعدما تراجع الرئيس دونالد ترامب عن تهديده بشن ضربات على طهران.

وقالت وزارة الخارجية المصرية في بيان ليل الخميس إن مصر "تثمن ما أعلنه الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب بإلغاء الضربات العسكرية التي كان مقررا تنفيذها ضد إيران مساء اليوم" معربة عن "تطلعها لأن يتم اغتنام الفرصة المتاحة من أجل التوصل إلى اتفاق بشأن مختلف القضايا العالقة وتهيئة الأجواء للتوصل إلى إنهاء الحرب وبدء مرحلة جديدة من الاستقرار الإقليمي".
