قال رئيس الوزراء الباكستاني شهباز شريف، الاثنين، إن الهدف النهائي في مفاوضات السلام بين إيران والولايات المتحدة "على وشك التحقق".

وحث شريف جميع الأطراف على ممارسة ضبط النفس ومنح السلام فرصة أكبر لا سيما عندما يكون "الهدف النهائي على وشك أن يتحقق".

وأعلنت القوات المسلحة الإيرانية الاثنين وقف ضرباتها على إسرائيل، بعد تبادل الطرفين الهجمات للمرة الأولى منذ اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار في حرب الشرق الأوسط.

وهاجمت إيران إسرائيل مساء الأحد ردا على قصف إسرائيل الضاحية الجنوبية لبيروت. وردت إسرائيل باستهداف "أهداف عسكرية" ومجمّع للبتروكيميائيات في إيران. ثم عادت طهران ووجهت دفعات جديدة من الصواريخ نحو إسرائيل الاثنين.
