مصر تسترد قطع أثرية من أميركا

استردت جمهورية مصر العربية أربع قطع أثرية من الولايات المتحدة الأميركية، وذلك بالتعاون والتنسيق بين وزارة السياحة والآثار ووزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي والمصريين بالخارج، وفي ضوء العلاقات المتميزة التي تجمع بين مصر والولايات المتحدة الأميركية.

ووصلت القطع الأثرية إلى القاهرة، حيث تسلمتها اليوم لجنة متخصصة من المجلس الأعلى للآثار بمقر وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي والمصريين بالخارج، وتم نقلها إلى المتحف المصري بالتحرير لإجراء أعمال الفحص والتوثيق والترميم اللازمة تمهيدًا لتسجيلها وعرضها.

وأكد وزير السياحة والآثار المصري شريف فتحي، أن استرداد هذه القطع الأثرية يجسد حرص الدولة المصرية على حماية تراثها الحضاري وصون هويتها الثقافية، كما يعكس نجاح جهود التعاون والتنسيق بين مؤسسات الدولة المصرية وشركائها الدوليين، بما يعمل على احترام التراث الحضاري الإنساني وقيمته العالمية.
