قال الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب للصحفيين الخميس إنّ واشنطن لا تحتاج إلى اتفاق مع إيران للحصول على اليورانيوم المخصب لديها.

وأضاف لصحفيين في البيت الأبيض "يمكننا الحصول عليه الآن. لا أعتقد أنهم (إيران) يستطيعون إيقافنا إذا أردنا، لكن لا داعي لذلك. إنه مدفون".

وذكر ترامب أنه لا يرغب بلقاء الزعيم الأعلى الإيراني مجتبى خامنئي.

لكنه أضاف أنه إذا توصلت واشنطن وطهران إلى اتفاق، فمن الممكن أن يلتقي معه، قائلا "إذا حدث ذلك... فسأبدي احترامي".
