دانت وزارة الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين الاعتداء الذي استهدف موقعًا تابعًا لقوة الأمم المتحدة المؤقتة في لبنان (اليونيفيل) جنوبي لبنان، ما أسفر عن مقتل جندي صربي، وإصابة جنديين من إسبانيا والسلفادور.

وأعرب الناطق الرسمي باسم الوزارة السفير فؤاد المجالي عن أصدق التعازي والمواساة لحكومة وشعب جمهورية صربيا الصديقة بوفاة الجندي، وتمنياته الشفاء العاجل للمصابين.

وأكّد المجالي ضرورة ضمان أمن القوات الأممية والحفاظ على سلامة عناصرها، ورفض المملكة أيّ استهداف لقوات (اليونيفيل) التي تقوم بدور مهم في حفظ أمن واستقرار لبنان وفقًا لتكليفها الأممي.
