دعا الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي، الثلاثاء، أوروبا إلى تطوير أنظمة دفاع جوي خاصة بها، وحضّ واشنطن على تقديم المزيد من الدعم عقب الهجوم الروسي الأخير بالصواريخ والمسيّرات والذي أوقع قتلى.

وكتب زيلينسكي على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي "تحتاج أوروبا إلى نظام دفاع خاصة بها للتصدي للصواريخ البالستية حتى يمكن وضع حد لهذه الحرب أخيرا، كما أن المساعدة الأميركية في توفير صواريخ لمنظومات باتريوت بالغة الضرورة".
